Medical cases of staff, students and relations of  the staff of both UNNPS and UNDSS are also handled by the unit .

There are qualified medical personnel including a medical doctor in the Institute's clinic.

The health services unit runs three shifts-morning, afternoon and evening. However, major medical cases are referred to the nearest government hospital.
