ICT/RESOURCE: CENTRE: The
Institute has an established ICT/Resource
Centre. This centre is directly answerable to the Director. It undertakes
all ICT activities of the Institute and is also responsible for the
collection and preservation of all audio, visual and audio visual
materials of the Institute
CYBER CAFÉ: A
functional
Cyber Cafe
is
available in the Institute. It is manned by the ICT/Resource Centre. It is
equipped with a broadband Internet solution with a twelve hour
uninterrupted access to the net each day at the moment. It enables
students and staff to access the World Wide Web for their information
needs.
LANGUAGE LABORATORY: A computerized Language Laboratory
adds
up to one of the modern learning facilities of the Institute. It provides
the students with a real life situation in the pronunciation of words as
well as tones which are prevalent in Nigerian languages.
PHONETICS LABORATORY: The
establishment of a modern Phonetic Laboratory
is underway. When it becomes operational, it will rank among the best of
such academic facilities in any of the Nigerian tertiary institutions. |
